Most AlphaCool gear is one-size-fits-all. Here's which products come in sizes, how to choose, and how to care for your gear.

Good news: most AlphaCool products are one-size-fits-all, so there's no sizing to figure out. Only our powered cooling vests and jacket come in sizes. This guide shows you which products need a size, how to choose, and how to care for your gear so it performs at its best.

Most Gear Is One Size

Adjustable, universal fit — no sizing needed

The majority of our lineup is designed with an adjustable, universal fit that works for nearly everyone right out of the box — no measuring, no size selection. This includes:

  • Cooling towels — one size, wrap or drape anywhere
  • Neck coolers & neck wraps — flexible, adjustable fit
  • Cooling gaiters & headwear — stretch to fit
  • Portable & personal fans — handheld, neck, and clip-on
  • Cooling accessories — designed to fit all

If a product page doesn't show a size selector, it's one-size-fits-all — just add it to your cart and go.

Circulatory Cooling Vest Systems

These water-circulating vests come in paired sizes — XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL, and 3XL/4XL — so most people fit comfortably in one of four options. They're designed to be worn snugly over a base layer or t-shirt for the best cooling contact.

Fan Vest & Fan Jacket

Our 5V fan-powered layers come in standard sizes M through 3XL. Pick your normal apparel size; if you plan to wear yours over heavier clothing or want a roomier fit, size up.

Not Sure Which Size?

Pick the size closest to what you'd normally wear. Our powered vests and jacket are built with an adjustable, athletic fit that works well over a base layer or t-shirt.

Getting Started

Each AlphaCool product is designed to be simple to use right out of the box:

Evaporative items (towels, neck coolers, gaiters): soak in cool water for 1–2 minutes, wring out the excess, and snap or shake to activate. Re-wet whenever the cooling fades.

Fans & powered gear: fully charge before first use, then power on and adjust the speed to your comfort.

How to activate AlphaCool cooling gear

Care & Maintenance

  • Rinse after use: Rinse evaporative products in clean water and let them air dry fully before storing to keep them fresh.
  • Hand wash: For deeper cleaning, hand wash with mild soap and cool water. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can coat the fabric and reduce cooling.
  • Air dry only: Lay flat or hang to dry. Skip the dryer and direct high heat.
  • Store dry: Always store fully dry. For powered gear, charge the battery periodically if it won't be used for a while.
  • Batteries & chargers: Use only the charger provided, and don't expose batteries to extreme heat.
