Beyond Awesome!

105 in Florida...no problem!
These AlphaCool Phase Change Cooling neck tubes are a god-send!! I am an equine bodyworker and although most of my clients are in barns with fans, Florida summers can still present with oppressive heat. HOWEVER, these neck tubes kept me cool and feeling good enough to continue my work with 'feels like' temps of 105 yesterday!! Each one lasted about 45 minutes to an hour on the hottest of days, and the fact that they fully "recharge" in 15 minutes in ice water in my small cooler keeps me easily well supplied with a freshly frozen neck tube as needed.

Upset and unhappy
I bought 4 of these. I used them once. When I was done with them, I let them thaw and put them in a little pouch and left them in an empty cooler for safekeeping. I just went to pull them out only to find 2 of them completely drained and a third one actively leaking. I used them once. I was not rough with them or miss handled them and I put them and they failed.

Neck Fans
The neck fans are rendered useless in the hot desert heat. I bought 2 different brands and neither could handle temperatures above 105. When temperatures go up to 120 degrees plus, you pray anything will bring some relief.

Good for shorter outdoor sessions
This cooling tube works really well for activities in the 1.5 to 2 hour range — walks, yard work, outdoor events. The phase change holds its temperature well within that window. For longer outings you'll need a second tube or a recharge opportunity. As long as you plan for that it's a reliable and comfortable product.
