Good quality, cooling duration shorter than hoped
The vest construction is clearly good — the seams, zipper and mesh all feel durable and well made. The cooling from the large pads is immediate and strong when fresh frozen. My issue is the large pads warm faster than I expected in real summer heat. On a 92-degree day I'm getting about 60 to 75 minutes before the cooling is gone. For the size and coverage of these pads I expected longer. Good product that just didn't meet my specific duration expectations.

Great for roofing crews

My MS heat management vest
I have multiple sclerosis and heat regulation is a daily concern in summer. The Frosty vest with fresh frozen pads keeps my core temperature down for my morning activities. The three-pocket design covers chest and back simultaneously which is more effective than single-zone vests. The open mesh breathes well against my skin.

Great cooling, gel pads freeze time is planning dependent
When the pads are fully frozen this vest delivers excellent cooling across chest and back. Fully freezing the large pads takes 3 to 4 hours in a home freezer. I freeze them overnight and they're always ready. Just know that quick freezes don't fully charge the large pads. Plan ahead and the performance is consistently excellent.

Solid quality, mesh sizing runs generous
The construction quality is genuinely good — seams are clean, zipper is smooth and the mesh is durable. My note is the sizing runs a touch generous in the torso. The adjustable sides help but for a slimmer frame the vest doesn't hug as closely as I'd like for optimal pad contact. For average builds the fit is probably perfect.
